First Impressions are important

My name is Roshanne and I'm a LLB Law with Criminology student at the beautifully green and tranquil Keele University (as shown above).

So, tentatively (following Bence Leb's inspirational 'follow the leaders' article in the Young Lawyer) I have decided to join the world of blogging (EEEK!) Like the new kid on the block, I'm nervous, excited and ready for new experiences... Let the journey begin!

Whether you're about to choose your GCSE subjects, or pick your A-Level subjects, or whether you're packed, ready and destined for University, an Apprenticeship, a Job or if you're still undecided this blog is for you... As from the trials and tribulations of picking a suitable Uni with 'realistic entry requirements' to the woes and worries of the dreaded results day, I've been through it all.

Let me just start by saying this: it isn't easy I worked hard, bloody hard during A-levels and it all paid off, as come August I had gained AAB in English Language, Psychology and Economics, something which to this day I am still very proud of :D ... You've probably been told this a billion times + 100 more nags from the parents, tutors, lecturers and the family pet but let me put it quite frankly, if you don't put the effort in, if you don't want to be the best you can be, rethink where you see yourself in the future IMMEDIATELY! Because if you do not put in 100% then this is exactly how future Law firms and Barrister Chambers are going to see you- they won't settle for second best, so why should you?

As one Mr Rascal once said "FIX UP, LOOK SHARP!"

Yours Faithfully,
